Was this position approved by the council properly – if so, they are partially responsible!
We voted to keep the position of County Executive – but no Republican stepped up to replace her in the primary…meaning we are stuck between re-electing her or electing a Democrat that we have already seen in action as a member of the County Council.
We did get opportunities to replace a couple of the Council members without enacting term limits – but we could have replaced more of them through primary challenges.
Please vote in November!
Not only County Government, but public school administrative positions are over the top. Even in Somerset County that has less than 3,000 students.
