It this drama didn’t cost taxpayers money and take away from needed things in the county being improved, it would be laughable. She’s trying to a two bit dictator in a county where she’s united most conservatives, moderates and liberals because she is just a trashy ex-Jerry Springer guest. Watching Bunky Luffman in this press briefing is also funny and sad since he gave up all his dignity and lifetime friendships in this county for a short term pay check as her coffee boy…..Rest Assured, most of us in the county government at every level despise this woman and we generally ignore her…but her antics are causing many good people to leave….
Notice in this half hour meeting that she allows only 3 questions and fails to answer two of them? The only one she responds to is “Yes, I will follow the law”…….HAHAHHAHHAHAHAHA….
Wow, politics at its worst. At arms length she seems sincere and worthy of trying to work with her. On another note, I give it to her for her fortitude and effort ie: she’s not short on balls:)
She’s an utter trainwreck who actually thinks she is “winning” by having public tantrums….can’t wait till she gets laughed out of court and moves on to the next crisis that she causes…
The County Council will fight the County Executive on every point because they have never liked the decision of the people to have an County Executive form of government. They want to go back to when they had total control of everything. In other words, if someone wanted something, they would do it in a legislative work session, then turn their hats around and approve what they wanted. Great deal for them. Not so great for the people. They feel that this County Executive will eventually fold because she’s a woman. What do you think?
Last I checked, the county council was voted in the same way as the county executive meaning they all are representatives of their constituents… Keep in mind John Cannon got more votes than even Julie did in the last election. Lol.
This big waste of time and resources has the typical john cannon MO all over it and clearly brainwashed anyone who’d lend an ear. If theres only one thing Iv learned over past decades is….If john cannon is against it then im for it! Once again disappointed in the council and ashamed of my representative for not supporting giving the executive the tools /people chosen to make a positive change. The majority of county residents voted this person to be executive, hampering and sabotaging this executive is going against the majority that voted her in. If I dont see some positive support from MY council REP in the next two weeks…then I will no longer support them with my vote as I have for years now. Play fair ball or get off the field!
If Wicomico County would simply just BAN the use of commas in all Wicomico County writings and documents, then this difference of interpretation in the County Charter would have never happened. I would suggest that Council Gentleman Winn introduce a Motion that permanently bans the use of commas in all County writings and documents.
Personally, I believe the only punctuation needs in the English language are ., ?, and ! (please ignore my use of commas).
Off topic but can someone tell me why the city of Salisbury paid to have their welcome to Salisbury sign in front of the DPL building torn down when nothing was wrong with it? They have now replaced it with a huge Hollywood type sign. It looks like crap. Salisbury spending money they don’t have. That’s what happens when liberals are left to run the asylum. You can put lipstick on a pig but it’s still just a pig.
Odd what the city government finds important to spend money on after they just got done trying to hurt the citizens with multiple tax increases and newly imposed illegal fees.
The council needs to change the job requirement for the county executive! Clearly being a wicomico resident and 25 years old isn’t enough. Look what it got us! She’s not qualified so she doesn’t understand the concept of hiring qualified people. If I had to on the job train my boss whose salary would put mine to shame, I would be a disheartened employee and would certainly look for another job.
Perhaps I’ve already screwed up but here’s the deal. From here on out of you want to personally attack anyone, use your name. I’ve had just about enough of you people attacking others like absolute cowards. Game over!

I highly doubt she’s the reason “many good people” leave. This clown show has been going on for decades. Low wages have been going on for years.
