A Comment Worthy Of A Post

I’ve known April and her brother Billy my entire life and you obviously know nothing about how they were raised nordo you know anything about their father and the character and integrity by which he lived by. Has Aprill drifted towards a more radical/racial identity, I have to say yes. Look at Salisbury as a whole people. Jake Day has created a far left NPR communist lwhite liberal community what do you expect? Jake praises the lgbt, trans, marxist, socialist radicals giving them a safe haven to spewtgeir hatred of white conservative America while he’s at salisbury university enjoying classically trained musicians perform. Talk about hypocrisy. He glorifies affordable section 8 housing for all to come and take advantage of while he makes his friends millionaires. You all created this cesspool called salisbury, with it’s violence, severe heroin problems and homelessness and April is just a voice of the black community and their frustration of being taken advantage of bttge likes of Jake Day and the democratic party. As far as the teacher at Parkside please if you had any kind of character or integrityabd you so called could see the path April was heading towards why didn’t you reach out and show her another path towards a more productive adult life? Like most of the spineless so called leaders in salisbury/wicomico county sit back and point fingers, gossiping and criticizing so you can feel better about your own pathetic existence

  1. This is indeed an interesting response by yet another fine graduate of the Wicomico County school system. I believe that both you and the previous individual who posted comments to her defense, also failed to grasp the the teacher did not identify as being a Parkside teacher. I believe the individual simply identified as one of her teachers. Further, how do you know that this teacher (or others) did not talk to her and her parents? I would suggest that rather than jumping to her defense and attacking everyone else, you use that same energy to have a discussion with April and direct her to address her issues rather than blame others. April is now an adult, and it is time to grow up.

  2. Nothing new here! This is just a dot of what has caused the demise of all liberal run cities. Captain Jake and April Monger is just what you have at the wheel running them. Salisbury at one time was decent. Now it is a cesspool because of the two above and people like Tony Sarbanes, Mike Dunn and Phil Tilghman included. Last and not least lets not forget the babbling bigmouth Bill Chambers.

  3. Good morning. I am the retired teacher you have addressed and wish to respond.

I had April in elementary school (Beaver Run), and I was never a teacher at Parkside High School. Often, I reflect on my career, and my former students. All to often do I read of their failures in life. Many have been arrested for crimes, and sadly, I could see how their lives would play out, despite my interventions and efforts. Regarding April, I held multiple conferences with her family, and I was criticized and demonized by them, despite my efforts to direct April towards a positive and productive path. I had Billy as well, and unfortunately he suffered similar outcomes.

Simply put, April’s family caused her ills, and attempts at blaming others is nothing more than a false narrative covering for a lack of personal responsibility.

It is unfortunate that April has come to this position in life, and beyond her family, she has only herself to blame.

As I enjoy my golden years in contemplative retirement, I recall many former students. I spend much time in prayer for them, and would invite you to do the same.

    1. April’s father was a detriment to the black community. Like so many so called black leaders he did nothing but harm to the black community. He was a liar who perpetuated the racism myth as the reason for their failures because he didn’t have it in him to be honest Blacks have historically looked to the worst society has to offer to adore and idolize and that is another one of the many many difficulties they have in life.

    2. Teacher,
Thank you for your true honesty. When your raised as a child with certain ideology, the child has no other option but to fail due to this way of thinking. Such a shame but this is April Jackson’s destiny.

  4. It’s very clear how April Jackson is and how she was raised. She was raised by people themselves who didn’t have a drop of moral blood in their bodies. If she were raised by good people she wouldn’t be the way she is. She would have respect for them and not be the way she is Anyone who defends her has the same issues she does and that is a complete lack of morals.

  5. if you really want to knw what April’s father was really like , talk to the people who worked with him. If you did, there would never have been a park named after him.

  6. You lay down with dogs…………you get up with fleas. April Jackson us a product of her upbringing (or lack thereof).
