SALISBURY, MD, MARCH 2021- Matthew Trader Of Rinnier Development Company recently closed a deal to bring a new, locally owned pizza restaurant to Salisbury, MD. The new restaurant, aptly named, Salisbury Pizza, will backfill the former Wendy’s located on Route 50. Trader, who previously sold the Wendy’s property to an investment group, has been working diligently the past few months to lease the building. Trader’s mission is now complete as Salisbury Pizza looks to open sometime within the coming weeks. The new fast casual restaurant will focus on pizza, but will also offer a variety of menu items for patrons to enjoy.
Trader comments, “I am excited to be able to bring this deal together for the landlords. I sold them the property with the idea that we could find a great tenant and I believe that is what we have achieved. I feel that Salisbury Pizza is going to do exceptionally well in this location. The owner is committed to providing a great product with a fast casual atmosphere. I think it is worth noting that Salisbury Pizza specifically chose this location because of it’s position on Route 50. They feel the quick access to 50 will help them more efficiently serve the community. Personally I think this section of town has major growth potential and it will be realized more over the coming years.”
Well, we have plenty of pizza parlors in the area but no outstanding pizza. Hope this new business turns out a pie that makes a drive there worth it, and that will make them successful. Best wishes, Salisbury Pizza.
They’ll sell a bunch of pies every day to hotel guests next door, for sure.
