A Salisbury man has been indicted Friday following a Maryland State Police investigation into the theft of over $670,000 from Crisfield American Legion Post 16 in Somerset County.
On Jan. 16, a Somerset County grand jury indicted 56-year-old Donald Lee Waters, of Salisbury, on several charges including theft over $100,000, theft scheme and related financial offenses.

How on earth can someone steal that much before someone notices? Sounds like the Legion has a real management problem to me! There should always be more than one person handling the money.
My thought exactly. One can only assume the American Legions are sucking on the government teet too.
Insane this went on so long with no checks and balances! Crazy big money!
Does this mean the gentleman needs to turn over his new Escalades he bought with cash ?
Good luck getting any of that back, Legionnaires.
