The signs should be taken down. It’s only a police range now. The public range idea never went any farther than putting up the signs. Manning the range with a certified rangemaster every day, ensuring range maintenance, shooter and visitor safety concerns, significant insurance expense, and the real potential for bad press if something went sideways may all have been considerations that led to the program’s never leaving the discussion phase. It was probably a good decision.

governmental entities, officials, or agents.
