  1. And after what happened in Surfside, Florida, they better check those high rise condos that were thrown up on the cheap in the 1970’s and 1980’s when OC did not have a qualified building inspector.

    1. But the problem in Surfside was the condo that collapsed had parking garage underneath and a weak one at that. I don’t think that Ocean City has those. Please correct me if I am wrong.

  2. At one time, not to long ago, only the Office of the State Fire Marshal handled ALL fireworks investigations, not the jack legs that are fake fire marshals in Ocean City. Funny how the Maryland Fire Marshal’s Office posted this tweet. Looks like they don’t trust the Ocean $hitty Far Marshells either!

The OSFM is monitoring the fireworks explosion in @OCMaryland. Ocean City Fire Marshals Office is the lead agency and will be conducting the investigation into the incident. They have released a statement of their FB page. #OCFireworksExplosion

Here is a link to the OSFM’s tweet: https://twitter.com/MarylandOSFM/status/1411708012113375238?s=20

    1. Yeah, it doesn’t look as though the OSFM trusts those fake Fire Marshal’s in Ocean City! After all they were the ones overseeing this fireworks set up! I fault the OSFM for allowing the clowns in Ocean City to be in charge and for them not taking it back over!

    2. Well what you gots to say bout dis embarrassment Mary Beth Corozza and Wayne Hartman? This happened under your watch!

      1. One of the sillier comments here, ever.

State elected representatives are not responsible for stowing, unloading, setting up fireworks. If they were, the responsibility would go higher, to the Dems running the Senate and House.

Lucky there don’t seem to have been injuries.

        1. Elected officials make decisions as well as being voted IN or OUT when the time comes. Yes indeed they are held accountable since it happened on their watch. How they react now will be remembered.

  3. Lots hittin the fan all at once for Rickie and Co. Next few months town council meetings should be jam packed and the term “tabled” should not be mentioned.

  4. Bummer !!!! No Fireworks Who runs the shhht in Ocean city > bunch of Idiots !!!

    Tourist are PISSED !!!!!
