A Comment Worthy Of A Post

Hey, Julie–Ai says this about what you’re touting to vanity-publish. So proceed at your own peril, but “vanity press” is definitely a very bad idea & makes you look so desperate– maybe you should lawyer up!
P.S.The example in it below of “selling a book” is directly from Ai !!!

“The Maryland Public Ethics Law (governed by the State Ethics Commission) and corresponding county or municipal ethics codes place strict boundaries on officials:

Use of Confidential Information: Most local ethics laws explicitly prohibit current and former officials from using confidential information acquired during their public service for personal economic benefit (such as selling a book).

Executive Session Violations: Local boards and councils regularly meet in closed “executive sessions” to discuss legal advice, property acquisition, or personnel issues. Disclosing the specifics of these sessions can violate local charters and state open-meetings laws, leading to official censures or civil penalties.”
