And So It Begins With The Cat Killer Adam Corry Deputy Director of Public Works Wicomico County Maryland

On Monday, February 10th, 2025, landfill staff had a meeting first thing in the morning in which Adam Corry, Deputy Director of Public Works, relayed that he had “dispatched a cat on the hill” and that he was certain that the cat was rabid and was moving towards him, so he killed it.  Apparently, there is no need for a lab test, because Adam can tell just by looking at it, that the cat was rabid. He somehow knew that the cat was not someone’s pet that ended up at the wrong place, beaten up by being dumped there and asking for help.  Nope, as he later admitted, a shovel was the weapon of choice! 

The meeting was an opportunity to berate staff that moving forward, all staff would be forbidden to feed cats anywhere on county property. And that meant that in February during a snowstorm, staff was forced to stop feeding the landfill cats and trap them for removal or euthanasia.  Realistically finding homes for 8-10 feral cats is easier said than done!  Luckily the Cat Coalition stepped up and took the cats.  Because the Cat Coalition had heard about the poor cat on the hill, a Facebook post on their feed mentioned a person killing a cat at the landfill without naming anyone. As soon as Adam saw the Cat Coalition employee, he immediately got aggressive with her (his favorite MO) and threatened to sue her for defamation and ban her from the landfill permanently.  And that’s the other side of the story.  How is it Adam is allowed to bully staff, members of the public and still keep his job?  Because he’s Julie’s bitch…  More about that another day.

Now let’s back up.  Cats have been dumped, some intentionally and some accidently onto the landfill grounds.  People have driven by and seen cars slow down and dump kittens.  Cats end up at the landfill, Rec & Parks Department, and the Roads Division.  Staff is not doing the dumping, but kindhearted staff have tried to help anyway they could.  Staff were getting dumped cats Trapped, Neutered, and Released (TNR) through the community cat coalition because the Humane Society (a County Division that gets paid hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars each year, yet they do NOTHING) never would help with cat issues.  Staff would come in on their own time, using their own money to feed the cats and that went on for over 10 years.   The cats weren’t bothering anybody until a cat killer became the Deputy Public Works Director.  This same employee had an issue with the Canada Goose population in the area also.  During nesting season Adam would run the Kubota 4-wheeler through any nest he could find on the hill, so he could destroy the eggs.  Why?  Because geese eat grass that they try to grow on the hill for cover.  Never mind that there were 4 months of no rain this spring, let’s blame the geese!  If you happen to be an animal lover this scumbag, (also known as the “little turd”) hates cats and who knows how many he possibly killed, we’ll never know with the exception of one that he admitted to my Wife and others.

This is only one chapter in this scumbags series of abuse, wait till you hear the other chapters of this little man’s syndrome of how he likes to verbally abuse staff. I will be making daily posts till election day and don’t think for a second I won’t be ragging on Jule and Heather very soon.
