One of the GOP’s most prominent elected governors has created a conservative social media firestorm after releasing what she thought was a basic ad targeting welfare recipients.
As Fox News reported, Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders released a campaign ad on Monday that showcased a young White male named “Brad” as the perfect example of someone who leeches off the government.
The ad shows an unkempt “Brad” spending his time playing video games and stuffing himself with cheese puffs while not bothering to look for employment.
“Meet Brad,” Huckabee Sanders says at the start of the ad. “Brad has turned relaxing into a full-time profession.”
they do have a point. when it comes to welfare and ebt’s it’s not white men I see at the check out lines using them! come on sarah do better! afraid of the left? we all know who the real culprits are!
If she had portrayed it based on the actual statistics, it would have been offensive to the minorities who are actually on the dole!
Her underlying point is accurate nonetheless!
She pretty much had to. Can you imagine the selective outrage it would have created if she used Dequan or travarius in place of Brad? The race hustlers would have come out in droves. “Reverend” Al would have them marching in the streets and Ben crump would have filed a lawsuit. Wise move Sarah!
