Agreed. The prices keep people away. i live here but if I have to plan a vacation, it will be anywhere buy here. I want to buy a home but can’t afford it. Something with less then 1300 square feet is over 400K What kind of bullshit is that. I’m a disabled vet and just want to have a place I can home in a place I love and it will never happen. How can someone who spent 9 years in our wonderful military afford that. Impossible. Maybe in my next life. I’m not looking for anyone to feel sorry for me but life just really sucks for the common person. To see all the homes that are multi-million dollar homes and lived in a couple weeks a year breaks my heart. I’m sure that there are a bunch of other people that feel the same way. But when the day is over, who much gives a damn
Too expensive, too much crime, not enough enforcement of laws, too much filthy smut displayed on the boardwalk, rude workers in shops, and food and lodging prices are out of sight! No wonder people are going to cleaner, safer destinations. Some place to park would be great too without costing a days wages.
It’s no longer a place to enjoy. The under 30 crowd are all just still stuck in a teenage mentality that they can behave anyway that they want and it shows. You can’t enjoy anything without the obnoxious childish behavior being front and center and completely inappropriate to deal with when you are trying to have a nice family outing. There’s no accountability anymore.
When crime leaves the big cities, then it comes to smaller cities with a smaller police force. Lock these thugs up. It’s the answer to crime, Thugs won’t come to get locked up.
Really miss the tram on the boardwalk. Ocean City has gone down hill. What happened to the days with females without all these disgusting tattoos and funky hair colors. Bring those days back. Who pays for all the tattoos snap cards, welfare and taxpayers money. What a joke.

When the crowds leave, so does most of the crime. No place is perfect, but if you market to the trash of society, that’s exactly what you’ll get.
