All across Maryland there is a wide variety of adventures (and species, like the speckled trout at left) waiting for anglers to explore.
White perch can be found in the region’s tidal rivers and creeks this month and offer good fishing close to home or port.
Chesapeake Channa, aka snakeheads, have no problem with warmer water temperatures and are very active this time of the year.
Kingfish, flounder, bluefish, or even a visiting blowfish are being caught in the Atlantic surf.

fishing for spot never better? what the hell is wrong with md dnr! pedalling this bs! lets see I can no longer fish for stripers because the bay is being raped by commercial interests! but I am allowed to fish for all the trash thats not targeted by commercial, spot, catfish, snakeheads (go ahead call it something else its still an invasive trash species). I guess if they repeat the lie enough people will eventually believe them! DNR should have their budget eliminated and be forced to do real police work!
