Seattle is turning into one of the best examples in America of what happens when voters keep rubber-stamping failed left-wing policies and then act stunned when the horrible consequences show up at their front door, knocking, wanting to come inside.
The left has been on a kick for years now, where they’ve convinced their gullible followers that police are the real problem. They told voters criminals needed more compassion, services, understanding, hugs, more chances, and way less accountability. Dem politicians have treated basic law enforcement like some ugly relic of a hillbilly/backwoods mentality… and the progressives clapped like seals and called all of this hooey “progress.”
Well, now the progress has officially arrived, and liberals are freaking out.
In one Seattle neighborhood, residents are so desperate to stop violence that they’re building their own makeshift road barricades out of logs, dirt, gravel, chunks of concrete, and whatever else they can find.
Think about how insane that is… the policies they happily supported and voted for are literally destroying their lives. Do you think they realize it, or are they still in a state of denial?
The fact that twisted left-wing policies have turned modern city residents into Wild West cowboys, dragging broken-saloon furniture into the street to defend their own town, is absolutely crazy.
These supposedly more “modern” and morally superior liberals are now hauling random garbage into the road because criminals are shooting up the neighborhood and city officials can’t seem to get control of the situation.
Do you feel sorry for them?
Don’t.
Because the people of Seattle voted for this. They voted for the soft-on-crime mindset and for people who think criminals are misunderstood community heroes and cops are the real threat. They voted for leaders who are way more comfortable creating chaos than solutions.
