Somerset County Narcotics Task Force Arrest Crisfield Man Following Successful Initiative To Combat Illegal Narcotics Distribution

(CRISFIELD, MD) – The Somerset County Narcotics Task Force arrested a Crisfield man following a successful initiative aimed at combating illegal narcotics distribution in Somerset County earlier this month.

Jawyne Antonio Taylor, 29, of Crisfield, Maryland was arrested and charged with three counts of possession with intent to distribute narcotics to include suspected fentanyl and crack cocaine. He was also charged with intent to distribute in a school zone as well as other related charges. He was arrested at his residence on April 1, 2026, and transported to the Somerset County Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.

The Somerset County Narcotics Task Force is a cooperative enforcement effort between the Maryland State Police, Somerset County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland Natural Resources Police and the Office of the State’s Attorney in Somerset County.
