It is forever an amusement to see the Left and the media (redundancy noted) constantly trotting out charges of “racism.” This is something perpetually directed at Republicans and conservatives, all while the evidence provided means you would need a jeweler’s loupe to locate something that would rise to the level of “scant.”
The president is racist for enforcing immigration laws. Nick Shirley is racist for discovering swaths of fraudulent daycare centers while not discovering any actual children therein. POC ICE agents in Minnesota are racists for detaining people who are in the country illegally. You recognize the drill…and you are probably racist for noticing.
I recently covered how the press has been straining to insist that a GOP candidate in Florida, who has a history of bigoted comments, is a stain on the party, all while he is polling around the same line of popularity as property taxes. Now the Washington Post has come out with a piece that definitively proves there is “bigotry among young conservatives,” and frankly, we would not normally recognize such a wan effort. Still, the comedy contained is too much to let pass. Seriously, if this is what is left on the staff of WaPo, they severely misjudged who it was they retained during the layoffs.
Hannah Knowles is the one they have looking into this problem, and it takes no effort whatsoever to come across the problem with her journalism. Ms. Knowles was not at all deterred, as she provided the contradiction to her very conclusion right there in the subheader.
