Democrats Get More Bad Polling News on Voter ID Amid Demagoguery on SAVE America Act

As I’ve written before, Democrats have been using scare tactics and pushing bogus talking points about voter/photo ID for ages. My home state of North Carolina has a lot of experience in this regard, being one of the red states that leftist groups tried to sue into oblivion over the original GOP-backed voter/photo ID bill that was signed into law in 2013 by our Republican governor at the time, Pat McCrory.

Ultimately, the state prevailed in the courts, but it took a lot of legal wrangling – thanks in part to a 2018 constitutional amendment on voter/photo ID that was approved by voters – to get there. It was a costly, unnecessary battle, especially considering that polling at the time showed clear majorities in the state, including Democrats, supported having a valid photo ID to cast their vote.

Democrats, of course, are still at it to this day, with their latest dooming and glooming being about the Trump-backed SAVE America Act, which Democrat leaders are trying to scare voters into thinking is “Jim Crow 2.0.”
