DEVELOPING: TMZ Receives Ransom Note Demanding Massive Payment in Bitcoin For Release of Nancy Guthrie Three Days After Her Disappearance

TMZ received a ransom note demanding a massive payment – in Bitcoin – for the release of Nancy Guthrie.

84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, mother of NBC’s “Today” show anchor Savannah Guthrie, was last seen on Saturday night.

The elder Guthrie went ‘missing’ from her Pima County, Arizona, home over the weekend and law enforcement described it as a ‘crime scene.’

Authorities said there are signs of forced entry and blood was found inside the Pima County home.

  1. I’m trying not to being insensitive about this news, but what if my mother went missing, how much time would all the national news stations devote to my misfortune? None !!! Nancy Guthrie is Savanna Guthrie’s mother. We all have mothers. What makes Nancy’s mother that great to command so much news coverage? I had never even heard of Nancy Guthrie until all this hype about her mother, but I have never watched the nbc “today” propaganda show either.
