“You can’t fix problems if you don’t have discussions,” Homan said.
“I didn’t come to Minnesota for photo ops or headlines. You haven’t seen me. I came here to seek solutions, and that’s we’re going to do,” he said in a video posted to X.
Homan doubled down on one of his principles that failure to cooperate with ICE creates sanctuaries for criminals.
“To be clear, we did not agree with Minnesota’s state and local officials that they would be involved in immigration enforcement,” Homan said. “I didn’t ask them to be immigration officers. I’m asking them to be cops working with the cops to help us take criminal aliens off the street.” Tom Homan White House Border CZAR 01-29-26 Western Journal
What’s happening in West Virginia, is cooperation and coordination between ICE and the West Virginia State Police, and it’s working. No chaos “in the Streets” like what’s been happening in Minnesota.
Also in Minnesota, this “Chaos” was wanted both the individuals who were killed, were trained “Anti Ice Activist’s” who were “Actively Interfering” in law enforcement operations.
What works is coordination and cooperation, the Same way that the DOJ / FBI coordinates and cooperates with State and Local law enforcement.
What doesn’t work is “Sanctuary State and County” policies, and training people to be “vigilant” against law enforcement like what’s been happening in Minnesota…
