Letter To The Editor

Julie Giordano has been going Live all morning and making “posts” on Facebook bragging about being in Annapolis wishing she was the Governor! Who is going to tell her that we the tax payers are not paying her to spend her time in Annapolis for the next 90 days. Her job is in Wicomico County in the Government Office Building running the day to day operations for Wicomico County and not in Annapolis trying to hand out in the halls wishing she was an elected state leader! This is NOT her job description and she is only doing it to fill her ego and make someone think she is important!

For the past 3 years she has been in Annapolis every single day when the General Assembly is in Session. Someone should put in an FOIA to see how much of our tax dollars are being wasted in fuel, breakfasts, lunches & dinners, hotel rooms and salaries, etc. Her little following of misfits “Love” everything she does and everything she posts. We need to find someone to step up to the plate and run against her. It’s time to put a stop to her paid vacations on the county dime!

John Cannon and Joe Holloway when are you going to look into this corruption??

And we’re back!
Honored to be in Annapolis today for the first day of the Maryland legislative session. As County Executive, it’s important to be present, engaged, and advocating for Wicomico County from day one.

We’re here to work collaboratively with our state delegation, build strong partnerships, and ensure the voices of our residents, businesses, and local governments are heard as decisions are made that impact our community. I look forward to a productive session focused on responsible governance, economic growth, and delivering results for the people we serve.
