Country Calling returning to two-day festival format in 2026

The third annual Country Calling Festival will return to a two-day format next year.

On Dec. 18, promoter C3 Presents announced its “Save the Date” for next year’s Country Calling, to be held Oct. 2-3, 2026.

Tourism and Business Development Director Tom Perlozzo said that while there was “no real particular reason” for next year’s event reverting back to its two-day format, the change would “ensure the longevity of the event and potential headliners.”

The news comes one month after officials shared that the second installment of Boardwalk Rock would not return to Ocean City next spring. They noted that the cancellation of two headline acts had forced them to cancel the 2026 event entirely.

“Everything, operationally, was set and ready to go,” Perlozzo said at the time. “But we had two headliners drop out over the course of getting this thing ready, and we couldn’t find a replacement that was suitable and met the expectations for a first-class event here in Ocean City.”

Perlozzo, however, made it clear that the promoter’s challenges in securing entertainment would have no effect on next year’s Oceans Calling Festival, which will return Sept. 25-27, and Country Calling Festival, which will return Oct. 2-3.
