The Ocean City Police Department is seeking information that leads to the apprehension of the suspect, pictured above, in last year’s Truist bank robbery.
With the case growing cold, city officials this week agreed to increase the reward for information that leads police to the perpetrator of a bank robbery that occurred last year.
During Monday’s regular meeting, the Ocean City Council voted unanimously to amend its city code and increase the maximum monetary amount for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person committing a criminal act from $5,000 to $10,000.
Later in the meeting, council members supported a resolution to increase the cash reward offered in the Truist Bank robbery investigation.
“I’m just thinking out loud, that based on what we did here tonight, we may wish to consider an increase of our current award to $10,000,” Council Secretary Tony DeLuca said.
Those eyes, those glasses, are we sure this isn’t Chuck Schumer ????
