States across the country have potentially illegally issued about 194,000 Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDLs) to foreign truck drivers who would not meet English language standards set by the Department of Transportation (DOT), Secretary Sean Duffy reveals.
Duffy revealed the alarming statistic in an interview on Fox Business Network, stating that some 200,000 CDLs have been issued to foreign nationals and that of those, 194,000 are suspected of having been issued illegally.
“People can’t understand the English language, they can’t read signs, and they don’t know the rules of our road. That’s a problem,” Duffy said. “Americans aren’t safe.”
Duffy also pointed to so-called “CDL mills” where foreign nationals are arriving in the U.S. and being pushed through such mills to secure CDLs despite their having hardly any knowledge of American driving rules.
The result is stagnant wages in the trucking industry, Duffy said.
“We also see that there are CDL mills … people aren’t being properly trained, they’re being pushed through and getting licenses and driving across the country,” Duffy said.
Maryland puts out a lot of CDLs to foreign applicants. They all have crooked interpreters helping them get the fraudulent documents they need to apply and cheat for them when administering the written tests, in their own foreign language. BTW, they make tons of cash money off of them too. They help them get fraudulent proofs of address, and all kinds of fraudulent documents needed to apply for a CDL. This has been going on for a long time in Maryland. The crooked interpreters make wads of cash TAX free money from them.

And locally the Wor-Wic CDL class is just as D.E.I. as it gets! Most applicants tuition and fees are paid for by the taxpayer! Had a friend go thru the class and he said the D.E.I. grant ferals showed up late daily and all they had on there mind was making passes at the female applicants in the class and staring at there cell phones. But there hands were held thru the process and after 9 times taking the driving tests they finally pass them on .
This is true! That CDL driving class at Wor-Wic is gigantic joke!!! They have unqualified instructors who are there for the easy job and payday!!
