U.S. Federal Judge Rebukes Justice Department for ‘Profound Investigative Missteps’ in Comey Case

A federal judge said Monday that potential government misconduct and investigative missteps could be grounds for dismissal of the criminal case against former FBI chief James Comey, a prominent foe of President Donald Trump.

Comey, 64, is one of three vocal Trump critics indicted recently in what has been widely seen as a campaign of retribution against the president’s political opponents.

Comey has pleaded not guilty to charges of making false statements to Congress and obstructing a congressional proceeding.

Magistrate Judge William Fitzpatrick, in a blistering 24-page opinion, ordered prosecutors in an extraordinary move to hand over grand jury materials in the case against Comey to his defense team.

“The Court recognizes that the relief sought by the defense is rarely granted,” Fitzpatrick said.

  1. Did anyone ever think he would ever serve a day in jail? Not me- he knows too much. They would arkancide him before they would allow him to be convicted. It’s all over- another traitor gets to walk. He will get his just reward only when he meets Satan.

  2. Sickens me that the luciferians and marxist ideals that APPEAR TO BE MAINSTREAM..
All based on lies and denial of who is really the KING. Get on the right team Team JESUS.

  3. Our courts are now just as corrupt as the rest of the politicians. Judge’s need to be held accountable for their actions just like everyone else.
