For my entire adult life, I’ve opposed ending the filibuster. It’s the only thing that prevents tyranny of the majority on Capitol Hill. If Democrats had been able to end the filibuster in Joe Biden’s first couple of years, they would currently still control the House and Senate, the Supreme Court would have added four leftist Justices, and Kamala Harris would be President.
In the last week, I’ve come around to accepting, begrudgingly, that John Thune and the Senate Republicans must end the filibuster now. The reasoning is simple but sad. The next time Democrats have control of the Senate, they won’t have Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin holding them back. They WILL remove the filibuster and begin a permanent reign of terror that would destroy the nation before Republicans could ever regain power. The only way to stop them is to end the filibuster, end the shutdown, and start passing legislation over the next year that prevents our nation’s demise.

Do not give one inch to the dim-o-rats who are supporting the illegal immigrants, which all are criminal by entering the United States illegally !! I am really tired of my hard earned tax money being given away supporting illegals by giving them free health care, ebt cards, drivers licenses, even free cell phones. Where is my free stuff? Oh no, I get nothing free, I get taxed up the ass for working just trying to survive. All you democrats can go to Hell !!!
