Not justifying their actions, but you never know who or what you might encounter on the roads these days. Might be responding to an emergency at home, or racing to get to see a loved one in the emergency room, or on drugs or alcohol, or an immigrant with no idea how to drive, or someone who’s just plain crazy. commuted daily to DC for many years and seen it all. individuals driving at 55 mph holding back lines of traffic riding in the left lane either clueless or just plain ignorant about their negative effects on other drivers. msp racing to the western shore for meetings, then fining you for doing the same thing! drivers on 495 shooting at other cars, etc. Best not to engage. If someone comes up on you no matter how fast you are going better to move over and let them go. either they’ll get where they want to, or you’ll pass them down the road when they crash or get pulled over. is it really worth your life potentially to prove a point? how stupid do you want to be? don’t engage these people! best to just get far away from them! be courteous and move over! how hard is that? or is it your ego that is actually the issue? Are you the arbitor of road safety? good luck with that! won the battle but lost the war!! better to get home safe and thank the Lord you did!
