A well-dressed woman was violently beaten by a group of females who stole her purse in New Orleans’ French Quarter.
Surveillance camera footage captured the savage assault in the early hours of Thursday in the historic district of the Louisiana city.
In the clip, a group of three woman walk down Royal Street together as the victim approached.
As she attempted to pass them one of the women wearing a light colored baseball cap lunged at her, grabbing the woman’s handbag and pushing her head against the wall.
The stunned victim turned and staggered back, before attempting to grab her purse as the thief fled.
However the other two women then launched at her, shoving her against the wall to prevent her from giving chase.
The victim kicked one of the women in the stomach before she yanked her leg, sending her sprawling to the floor.
As she lay helplessly on the ground, the thief returned and began punching her while the other two women restrained her.
