This past Friday June 27th 2025 Wicomico County Executive Julie Giordano’s number one Social Media smear merchant against supporters of Question A during the 2024 election, Mr. Patrick Adkins announced on his Facebook page he plans to run for Wicomico County Executive in the 2026 Republican primary.
Adkins who lives in Mardela, owns a business, and is also on the Wicomico County Republican Central Committee. Along with County Executive Giordano who is currently the Vice Chair of the Committee.
This announcement comes as a shock to many being how close Adkins is to Giordano and her allies, especially Earl Campbell the Owner of Eastern Shore Undercover, and David James the head of Bridging the Gap and the President of the Delamarva Conservative Movement both who are strong supporters of Giordano.
In addition Adkins is close with a group of current and former police officers from Wicomico and Worcester County who are supporters of Giordano as well.
With all of this it brings to question what’s the real motive of Mr. Adkins? Adkins stated he doesn’t plan to raise money, Many are believing that Adkins is running as a favor to Giordano to dilute the vote in the primary, or try and scare a more serious candidate from running, almost ensuring Giordano an easy primary victory. This is a practice troubled incumbents have done in the past.
Which Giordano is with many scandals including Safari at the Quarry, The MOU with Eastern Shore Undercover, her improperly hiring a Deputy Director, Campaigning with illegal campaign signs in the 2024 election and being fined by the Maryland Board of elections, Being a vocal supporter of Marylands Governor Wes Moore as a Republican, and inappropriate relationships with certain county employees in law enforcement.
Let’s hope Republicans in Wicomico see through this very dishonest County Executive who prides herself on being manipulative and good at lying as a another one of her many stunts , and a serious Republican will challenge Giordano in 2026.
From all stated above it definitely appears Mr. Adkins isn’t that at all… Stay tuned folks this 2026 Republican primary in Wicomico County is gearing up to be an interesting one…

At the time of her election, she was the best candidate running…but, has since shown her lack of ability for the position. Hopefully, she will be a one-term executive with a real conservative candidate winning the primary!
She survived the vote against the executive position – hopefully, she won’t survive the right executive election next fall!
