The Route 346 Emporium will remain closed this week. The weather simply refuses to cooperate. The temperatures are simply too low to attempt to heat such a large building and with it being so close to the after Christmas season it just makes sense to remain closed until the temperatures rise again. Besides, from what I’ve seen with how bad the back and side roads are we can’t expect people to risk driving to and from.
Side roads are awful in Salisbury. Has the city fined anybody for not shoveling sidewalks? People are either risking breaking limbs walking on un-shoveled sidewalks or walking in the road. The sidewalks on the railroad bridge on Route 13 haven’t been shoveled and people are walking in the busy roadway.
Postal Service is closed today for Carters Funeral l can see why Democrat run. Never have they closed for republican presidents. I don’t know what’s going on but half the time not much mail anymore.
School’s closed again – just got the robo call from Wicomico and it is no doubt due to the significant ice on the side streets and secondary roads.
