President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris took turns delivering what amounted to a pep talk at the Democratic National Committee’s holiday reception in Washington, D.C., on Sunday.
The president begged supporters to “keep the faith” despite the party losing the White House and the Senate while the GOP also maintained control of the House.
But it was Kamala’s inspirational speech that had people talking. Talking and swiping the sweat off their brows while declaring, “Phew! We dodged a bullet.”
At this point, she might as well open up a word salad restaurant in the heart of D.C. She delivers one here, in spades.
Good lord. What does any of this mean? Harris kicks things off by declaring, “Our spirit is not defeated.”
Rest assured, it is. Their spirit is broken. We know this because the DNC has the least inspirational people on the planet talking about spirit and “keeping the faith.”
Shortly thereafter, however, the vice president launched into one of her signature oratory versions of the Hindenburg disaster.
“We are not defeated,” she reiterated. “Let’s be clear about that. We are strong, and we are clear about why we are in this, and because you’re here right now, I say again, ‘Thank you.'”
“Because not only are you clear about all of that, but you’re willing to put in the hard work!”
How is it gramatically possible to use the word “clear” three times over the course of 15 seconds and never actually be clear about something?
Bottom line, kamala has the vocabulary of a 4th grader
