In the least surprising news of the day, White House resident Joe Biden was caught entirely off guard and face-planted when forced to improvise during a press conference.
Biden on Tuesday delivered remarks about his decision-making on the U.S. economy at the Brookings Institution in Washington D.C. This comes as his fellow Democrats have blasted him for letting Trump take the spotlight on this issue and many others.
But misfortune ensued for Biden when the Teleprompter he was reading went out, or in Biden’s words, “lost electricity.” He struggled to spit out his words for several seconds, undoubtedly confusing the audience.
“And you know, one of the things that’s going on here is I just turned off my (inaudible)… I just lost electricity here. Anyway, one of the things we found is that, uh, we, uh, we invented the semi, the computer chip,” Biden sputtered. “Size of the tip of your little finger.”
