COUNTY EXECUTIVE ANNOUNCES PUBLIC HEARINGON PROPOSED CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

Salisbury, MD … Wicomico County Executive Julie Giordano invites all citizens to participate in a Public Hearing on the Fiscal Year 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 in the Flanders Room of the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center beginning at 6:00 PM.

The public is encouraged to present their comments and questions. County Executive Giordano and her staff will consider the suggestions of the citizens when creating the 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program. Final decisions will be based on prioritization of need and available funding sources.

  2. Quit throwing money at that airport as if it’s the economic future of Wicomico County. It’s obscene how much tax revenue is being spent on an unnecessary runway extension and infrastructure for a few acres industrial park. It’s coming when fingers are going to be pointed and someone is going to be blamed.
