‘Meet the Press’ Tries to Clean Up After Host’s Defense of Kamala Gets Busted, but Even That Goes Wrong

We reported earlier how Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) had to clear up the media disinformation about President Donald Trump’s Arlington National Cemetery visit. He also ripped into Kamala Harris for her vile tweet attack on Trump, as well as her failure to support the families of the 13 fallen service members who were killed because of the incompetence of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

He noted the families, not Trump, wanted the photos for their own memories, and that Harris has never spoken to them — despite their requests, and that Harris was “four miles away” in Washington:

“She was four miles away — ten minutes. She could’ve gone to the cemetery and honor the sacrifice of those young men and women, but she hasn’t. She never has spoken to them or taken a meeting with them,” he said.

It was then that “Meet the Press” host Kristen Welker interrupted saying, “They did meet with them during the dignified transfer. They were with them at the dignified transfer.”

Of course, this wasn’t true. Kamala Harris was not there. Joe Biden was, but it was a disaster, with the families saying he was constantly checking his watch and talking about his son Beau more than about their children.

Now, “Meet the Press” is trying to clean up the mess that Welker made and how wrong that was. But even in that attempt, they messed up.

  1. I can’t believe that Governor Wes Moore appointed Barry Beauchamp as the Delegate to replace Carl Anderton! I can’t believe that our local Democrats gave him a free pass after knowing that Mr. Beauchamp and his wife took anti-government classes by a pastor linked to an extremist white supremacist neo-Confederate group League of the South! Beauchamp and his wife took these classes put on by a known racist Pastor David Whitney with 8 other candidates during the 2022 Election cycle!! Did Governor Wes Moore know this? Where is Jermichael Mitchell on this? Is this what we want representing Wicomico County and Maryland?

  2. Get rid of those national tv sunday shows. No one watches meet the press (nbc), george stuffmyass (abc) or face the nation (cbs) anymore. Waste of time and the politicians lie all the time. Right or left.
