‘You think she lied about her heritage?’ Raddatz questioned. ‘Yeah. I believe she’s just Indian. I don’t think she’s black’

Wisconsin voter Melody Davy debated Vice President Kamala Harris’ racial identity with ABC News host Martha Raddatz on Sunday, after Davy questioned whether or not Harris is black.
During a segment on ABC’s “This Week,” Raddatz interviewed voters in key swing states about their upcoming election choices. While discussing black voters’ recent shift toward the right, Davy revealed she’s “leaning” toward voting for former President Donald Trump and questioned if Harris had lied about “her heritage.”
“And why is that?” Raddatz asked after Davy said she was leaning towards voting for Trump.
So, because you identify as black, you are black???
Maybe now in the LGBTQ+ community, the ” B ” stands for black …….
Can someone define what a ” black voter ” is ? Or what and where a black person comes from.
Is it based just on skin color ? Do the people from Haiti, Jamaica, Dominican Republic ( just to name a couple of countries ) consider themselves black or do they identify themselves from the country they are from.
Kamala Harris is currently identifying herself as a black person. ( not a person of color ). Her mother, Shyamala Gopalan, was a biologist who arrived in the United States from India. Harris’s father, Donald J. Harris,[18] arrived in the U.S. from Jamaica in 1961. Did they identify themselves as black or white or other ? Barack Obama’s parents, father from Kenya. His mother was born in Wichita, Kansas, and was of English, Welsh, German, Swiss, and Irish descent. So he could have identified himself as either black or white.
I really get tired of politicians and others saying ” we need to get the black votes ” . Never hear them say ” we need to get the white votes, or American Indian votes or Asian American votes ” and so on. This country has a color identification problem. WE ARE ALL MORE THAN JUST BLACK OR WHITE !!!!!
