The Question You May Be Asked at Your Next Doctor Visit: Are You Registered To Vote?

The Democrats are so desperate to keep Donald Trump from returning to the White House that they are willing to do just about anything. Ethics are virtually nonexistent for them. The effort to keep Trump from a return to the presidency began early on. However, a little-known get-out-the-vote scheme targets some of the most vulnerable members of society, and many may not know what is happening. The perpetrators claim it is all in the name of “therapy,” and conveniently, it is taking place in a crucial swing state. If you think journalism is full of activists, meet healthcare.

  1. That’s fantastic! Anything that can be done to help ensure that everyone who is entitled to vote gets themselves registered so that they *can* vote is great. Whether it’s DMVs or Hospitals, these are places that most everyone goes to at some point or another, so it’s good that our most important civic privilege and duty is brought up at these places.

    1. What a ridiculous response 1:29. Should the doctor ask me if I change the oil in my car regularly also? Registering to vote has absolutely nothing to do with medical care, which is the doctors profession. You my friend are a major part of the problem in this country. Learn to think for yourself.

    2. I really hope this is sarcasm on your part, if not you are delusional. That’s just what I want, my Doctor worrying more about if I’m a registered voter, rather than why I am there to see him/her.

    3. 1:29 – this is to get undocumented migrants to sign up to vote. The emergency room is their primary care facility, so the idea is sign them up while they wait. This is nothing more than subverting voter ID.

  2. 6:46, 8:21, and 1:29 – if you can’t see how voting is related to health care you’re beyond hope. Obviously our voting behavior relates to our health. Medicare, the Affordable Care Act, Abortion rights, etc. all only exist because of voting and the leaders we’ve put in office. And BTW, oil changes also are relevant, because if your engine seized then you could be injured as a result. I bet you don’t think your doctor should ask if you smoke or drink alcohol either, huh?
