Joe Biden had a “tough” call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday in which the American president demanded Israel surrender to Hamas “within a week or two.” He also pledged to pull support from Israel if there is any further “escalation.”
According to a new report, Biden was “emotional” and began yelling as he insisted that Netanyahu somehow secure a ceasefire with a terrorist government that keeps rejecting every ceasefire proposal.
At the end of the meeting with Netanyahu in the Oval office last Thursday, Biden became emotional, raised his voice and told Netanyahu he needs to reach a Gaza deal as soon as possible, three Israeli officials with knowledge of the meeting told Axios.
- “Biden raised his voice and said he wants a deal reached within a week to two weeks,” a senior Israeli official said.
- “Biden told Netanyahu that a hostage and ceasefire deal is the most important thing right now,” the Israeli official added.
If you’re good at math, you’ve probably already realized that “a week to two weeks” just so happens to be days before the Democratic National Convention is set to take place. Why does that matter? Because for the better part of a year, the expectation has been that left-wing Hamas supporters will protest and commit acts of violence at the event.
Biden is clearly hoping that a ceasefire will defuse the situation and spare his party the embarrassment. In other words, the President of the United States is demanding an American ally surrender to terrorists for political gain. That’s a wild development that would be a bona fide scandal if it involved a Republican.
Again, how is Israel supposed to secure a hostage deal when Hamas refuses to agree to one outside of securing total victory in Gaza as a condition? That’s never a question posed to Biden nor any other administration official, though it’s the most obvious one surrounding this ordeal. Israel has repeatedly offered lopsided deals that would heavily benefit Hamas and they’ve all been rejected. What’s left for them to offer except the complete preservation of Hamas as a governing authority? It would be suicidal for Israel to allow that.
If Obiden is now unfit to run for re election, why the hell is the senate and house still allowing him to run / make decisions for this country ? Obiden needs to be removed from office NOW.
