Former President Donald Trump vowed to end the “illegal immigration crisis” during his Thursday evening speech at the Republican National Convention — his first public address since he narrowly survived an assassination attempt last Saturday.
Trump’s highly-anticipated speech began around 10:30 p.m. to close out the four-day convention, after being introduced by UFC CEO Dana White.
“Our borders will be totally secure, our economy will soar,” the former president said in a list of goals for his potential next term in office. “To achieve this future, we must first rescue our nation from failed and totally incompetent leadership.”
“Under the current administration, we are indeed a nation on decline… We have an illegal immigration crisis and it’s taking place right now as we sit here in this beautiful arena,” Trump said.
Going on to call the crisis a “massive invasion,” that has spread crime and disease to “our communities,” he lamented that “nobody’s ever seen anything like it.”

WTF are you babbling about? Fascism? ZERO to do with the issue of illegal immigration. We have a literal invasion of our country-and don’t believe for a second it is 10-12 million illegals that have crossed the border (thanks to Joe & company, and by design). A friend of mine works for ICE-he said likely 3 times that amount are here. I have no problem with LEGAL immigration…our country should be able to select the people that we want to come here-we need the brightest and the best-doctors, scientists etc. as well as some for compassionate reasons…However, what we are getting now are criminals, terrorists, gang members, sex traffickers…tens of thousand of children have disappeared-you think something good has happened to them? An illegal in Worcester County has been arrested for rape-he should not be here in the first place. What if that was YOUR daughter that was victimized? How about the people in sanctuary Montgomery county that have had their hearts CUT out with machetes by illegal alien MS 13 gang members? What if that was YOUR family member? We have enough home grown crime to deal with-don’t deliberately make it worse. And do you think that China has let thousands of military age men just leave to come here? They have such a stranglehold on their people, they were SENT here deliberately for nefarious purposes. You probably love cackling hag Harris too. Wow.

I live near the airport in SBY. This morning at 1:07 Am a plane went over my house. This may have been a scheduled flight, or this may be something else altogether. I think I’ll start checking scheduled flights, because this seems to be an odd time to fly into SBY. I hope it’s nothing nefarious.
