  1. Not a hard question to answer. If we let illegals votes why not just let citizens if other countries vote? Hell, we could vote Putin out of office if that’s the case.

  2. HELL NO! Let them come to the polls, and have a HUGE truck from Immigration ready to pack them up and roll.

  3. How do you type an article on SBY for people to read. it use to be easy. Now do you have to have a seperate account? Can you make it easy? Thank You.

  4. Voting for Federal offices is restricted to native born citizens and naturalized citizens only. Period.

Permanent Resident Aliens, Temporary Resident Aliens, those here on Visas of any sort, including those who have unlawfully stayed after expiration of a Visa are not eligible to vote in Federal elections. None of this is new and laws are in place to charge, try, jail or deport alien violators. Enforcement, and the will to enforce, is largely lacking.

Illegal aliens should be back in home countries, and we should continue to accept, vet and welcome lots of legal immigrants.

The Franchise, or ability as a citizen to vote, is among our most precious rights. Cheapening it by offering registration at every kiosk, government office or other venue is where this problem originates. Those aiding illegal registration should be charged with a felony, mandatory jail if convicted and barred from voting for several years after finishing their prison time. They should be forced to register like pedophiles. IOW, we should make illegal voting or assisting illegal voting, including false ballots of any sort a major crime with harsh penalties as deterrents so costly to violators as to completely discourage the practice. The goal is zero violators.

Males are required to register for Selective Service at age 18; voter registration should be available to them when they have registered. Females should be included in Selective Service registration, which requires an addition to the law requiring registration; they can register to vote like the males then. Newly naturalized citizens can register as part of their citizenship swearing ceremony.

Federal elections are held every two years. Registered voters who miss 3 elections (6 years dormant) are removed from voter rolls and can only re-register at the election bureau in person. Election bureau staff will visit the home of delisted disabled voters to put them back on the rolls.

None of this is rocket science. We should want all eligible citizens to be registered to vote, to be conversant with the issues and candidates, and to vote in each election.
