Hoping Rickie is done puckering after concrete failure on route 50 bridge, sink hole on the shoulder b4 the start of the 90 bridge west, mom nature showing her displeasure of 4th of July fireworks display in the inlet, several after home fireworks thrown in local dumpsters starting fires all night.
Kudos to the crowd. Been since before COVID having a jammed town on July 4th. To bad many were day trippers and didn’t provide the city a weeks long of tax receipts (hotel and restaurants)
Next bigger is White Marlin, 1st week in Aug…then labor day…then real fun until April. Until then, tourons spend spend spend. Especially cigs now that a pack had a 1.25 tax added. Crazy man…crazy man.
Staying in the shade, staying hydrated.
Avoiding our lovely visitors as much as possible.
It’s always amazing to me when I go to the supermarket at this time of year and it is just so easy to pick them out: Rude, oblivious to others, and matched to an entitlement attitude.
