Baltimore, Maryland

Baltimore reached the sixth spot on MoneyGeek’s list of the most dangerous cities in the U.S. out of 302 cities with over 100,000 people. It’s worth mentioning that much of Baltimore’s crime happens in certain poor areas that struggle with drugs and gangs rather than being spread all over the city. So, if you avoid those high-risk areas—you can reduce your exposure to violence.
You can tell when the people writing the articles have never been to where they are writing about. Case in point, charm city. You get mobbed by the squeege kids before you can make it to the inner harbor. Once there many of the shops have closed up/ gone under and the hood rats run wild. The whole place is out of control. Then there’s Philly – Geesh – it’s worse than Baltimore!
