WILMINGTON, DELAWARE: Hunter Biden’s defense attorney, Abbe Lowell, has pointed fingers at Hallie Biden, the widow of his late brother Beau Biden, suggesting she might be responsible for the cocaine residue found on Hunter’s gun pouch.
During closing arguments in a federal court in Delaware, Lowell scrutinized text messages exchanged between Hallie and Hunter around the time Hunter purchased the firearm, as per Daily Mail.

“Poor Hallie Biden,” Lowell remarked, emphasizing that Hallie had admitted to using drugs while in a relationship with Hunter. He argued that the drug residue on the gun pouch could have been Hallie’s, not Hunter’s, stating to the jury, “You don’t know who could have put the drug residue on the pouch.”
Jurors began deliberations on Monday afternoon, June 10, to determine whether Hunter should be convicted of illegally obtaining a gun five years ago while using drugs. The case has garnered significant attention as it marks the first instance of criminal charges against a sitting president’s son, according to The Daily Beast.
Hunter, 54, pleaded not guilty to three counts related to lying on a gun application form in October 2018. If convicted, he faces up to 25 years in jail.
