Biden’s education secretary defends biological males in girls’ bathrooms

Education Secretary Miguel Cardona defended his new federal rules requiring schools to let students use the bathroom of their choice, saying he’s defending the rights of transgender students who have been “under attack in our country.”

Pressed by Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith, Mississippi Republican, Mr. Cardona brushed aside concerns that biological girls might feel unsafe and lashed out at opponents of the new bathroom rules as “trying to create division.”

Ms. Hyde-Smith kicked off the exchange Tuesday by saying the new rule flips Title IX of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 on its head by giving “biological male” students the ability to use girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms through transgender access policies.

  1. Just what in the heck were you thinking! Don’t you recognize the difference between male and female athletes. Apparently Not. Disturbing that you are making “decisions” for others.

  2. If you were born XX. You use the bathroom / locker room designated for XX.
If you were born XY. You use the bathroom / locker room designated for XY.
You were NOT born a HYBRID. There is NO XXY or XYX.

  3. Ok class, let’s go over this again.
In most cases, the female is XX and the male is XY. Every individual must have at least one X chromosome. Since the female is XX, each of her eggs has a single X chromosome. The male, being XY, can generate two types of sperm: half bear the X chromosome, half the Y.
Females can’t produce sperm. Males can’t produce eggs.
99.9999 % chance , you were not born a hermaphrodite.
A hermaphrodite (/hərˈmæfrəˌdaɪt/) is a sexually reproducing organism that produces both male and female gametes. Animal species in which individuals are of different sexes, either male or female but not both, are gonochoric, which is the opposite of hermaphroditic.
