Louisiana House Passes Bill That Requires All Schools Receiving State Funds To Display 10 Commandments Inside Classrooms

The Louisiana House of Representatives has passed Bill 71, which requires all schools that receive state funding to display the Ten Commandments.

Bill 71, introduced by Rep. Dodie Horton (R), passed 82-19 and will now be voted on by Louisiana’s Senate.

The bill states,” Each public school governing authority and the governing authority of each nonpublic school that receives state funds shall display the Ten Commandments in each building it uses and classroom in each school under its jurisdiction.”

Bill 71 calls for all K-12 schools and colleges receiving state funding to display the Ten Commandments.

  1. This is good! if they can have devil crap, we should be able to have God stuff too! All you have to do is fight back. Just fight back and we could win this war. But no all of you rather be good little slaves and let your kids life be ruined by a bunch of pedo’s pushing harm on kids. I guess you have to have our kid molested before you will give a crap huh?

    1. It’s not good Jack. If a state can force Christianity in schools, then another state could force Islam in schools. Wouldn’t like that, would you? That’s why we have a constitutional (First Amendment) prohibition on governmental establishment of religion. Preventing government from setting up Christianity is exactly what protects your right to practice Christianity.

      1. 4:41 But you are ok with schools pushing the lgbtq BS to kindergarteners? I’ll take the 10 commandments any day over the sick crap their pushing in kids now.

  2. I’m a Deist. Just like Thomas Jefferson, John Addams and Thomas Paine. There is a God but no religion. If you’ve ever read or listened to Thomas Paine’s “Common Sense” it’ll scare the crap out of you how the founding fathers of the United States of America thought, believed and worshiped. The majority of people today wouldn’t be able to comprehend.
