North end bus stop on both sides…3 level town homes 2 feet away from coast highway now selling at $600k, other side of the bus stop “Luxury Townhomes”. What does luxury mean here on the island??? $1 million???
More townhomes condos quickly going up where the north phillips parking lot used to be……speaking of north phillips/mexican restaurant…that lot still empty.
94th street news 2 weeks ago. Roses sign up going out of bizz, soon to be demolished and replaced with a new ACME….albertsons should make it a Safeway but whatever. Then 94 street block owner will parcel out 4 plots for building townhomes and condos. Yippie
Margaritaville on 13th and 14th street coming
Old Party Block/Cowpukes 17th street will be demolished for a high end Italian restaurant. Wth? Vacationers want high end class???? Ohhhh kay.
South end Phillips property makeover to affordable housing??????
Does more building mean more people? Most of the high rise condos are people less most of the season… City Hall has already warned us within 10 yrs another water treatment plant will be needed on the north end….meaning more increases.
Yet there are less than 7700 registered voters on the island. Hmmmmm…

Oh yeah. ..city hall cant do nothing, but suckcast just did a 1 yr contract with masn. Suckcast, only cable distributor on the island…..the 1 yr also requires that masn and masn2 both go to a higher tier, meaning more money now to watch Os and Nats. Soon masn will be gone, just like Angelos passing away today. Mounumental network will pick up the Os and Nats next year. Its just the constant pick pick pickin thats frustrating.
