numerous other wind projects have been canceled here in the usa and overseas since the numbers ofr profitability dont add up. so why is maryland pursuing this? the lobbyists and their mouthpieces in maryland dont care because the ratepayer/taxpayers of this state will be burdened with these horrendous rates while they the previously mentioned crooks all laugh their way to the bank!
These wind turbines aren’t designed to be profitable, they’re designed to harness wind power and reduce energy costs and reliability on other forms of energy. How do you expect to give your money to the windmill so it can turn a profit? This is like saying putting solar panels on your house won’t turn a profit. They’re not expected to. That’s not how this works.
I would say the only winners of the windmill projects are the parts manufactures, owner operators, and the promoters, all at the expense of consumers.
Only to the ones dumb enough to buy it
The windmills drive up energy costs. When it isn’t windy the consumers must pay for the profit loss of the owners. They also require an expansion of the existing grid
