Recent whistleblower disclosures have brought to light disturbing allegations of political targeting within the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), according to the Washington Times on Saturday, November 11, 2023.
High-ranking officials are accused of singling out agents with military backgrounds and conservative political beliefs, leading to the stripping of security clearances and, in some cases, leaving individuals financially devastated and homeless.
Whistleblowers have come forward with explicit claims that FBI Security Division Deputy Assistant Director Jeffrey Veltri and Assistant Section Chief Dena Perkins have specifically targeted agents with military backgrounds.
Allegedly, these individuals, particularly former Marines and veterans of other military branches, are labeled as disloyal to the United States based solely on their perceived support for former President Donald Trump.
The whistleblowers assert that Veltri and Perkins retaliated against these targeted agents by stripping them of their security clearances.
Shockingly, the disclosures reveal instances where agents were targeted without any evidence of affiliation with a foreign power or disloyalty to the United States.
