Jury finds Marilyn Mosby guilty of perjury

A federal jury has found former Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby guilty of two counts of perjury.

Mosby walked out of the courthouse in Greenbelt, Maryland, after the verdict was read, only saying, “I’m blessed.” Neither Mosby nor federal public defender James Wyda commented on questions about appealing the verdict.

A date for sentencing has yet to be set. Mosby potentially faces five years in prison for each count of perjury.

Baltimore’s Fraternal Order of Police commented on the guilty verdict on X, saying in part that she had a “campaign to destroy the Rule of Law in Baltimore throughout her tenure as State’s Attorney.”

  1. It can mean only one thing: Mosby now qualifies as a verified faux-victim and gets appointed to a high paying government job by the Maryland Democrat machine.
