An alleged hammer-wielding robber was shot and killed Sunday afternoon around 2:30 p.m. as he reportedly tried to rob a gun store and the store owner opened fire.
KTVU reported the incident occurred at East Bay Firewarms in Livermore, California.
The Livermore Police Department observed that the alleged robber “then attempted to rob the gun store by taking a firearm while armed with a hammer.”
NBC Bay Area noted the store owner then fired two rounds, at least one of which struck the suspect, who died at the scene.
Police viewed the store owner’s actions as self-defense.
Don’t take a hammer to a gun fight?
A perfect example of Darwinism…
Takes a Gun to Stop a criminal !!! LOL
As it should be > Robbers get SHOT !!! PERIOD
What would he have done with the gun if he’d been successful?
