Lunden Alexis Roberts, the mother of Hunter Biden’s four-year-old daughter, Navy Joan Roberts, has petitioned an Arkansas court to change her child’s last name to ‘Biden.’
According to a report by Inquisitr on Friday, October 13, 2023, the move has ignited a legal battle between the two parents, with Hunter Biden requesting a reduction in child support obligations due to a perceived change in his financial situation.
Navy Joan Roberts is the child of Hunter Biden and Lunden Alexis Roberts, who were involved while Hunter was still seeing Hallie Biden, the widow of his late brother, Beau Biden.
Their relationship became public after the tragic passing of Beau Biden in 2015 due to brain cancer.
Roberts’ name change petition comes in response to Hunter Biden’s request to adjust his child support obligations, citing a “substantial, material change” in his financial circumstances.
