Hamas terrorists raided at least two kibbutzim in Israel’s south Saturday as part of the wider shock attacks on Israel, leaving residents in the defenseless communities begging for help.
Civilians said they were being held captive by terrorists in their homes and begged the army to send forces to the southern kibbutzim of Nir Oz and Nir Am, along with other communities along the border with the Gaza Strip.
“We are being slaughtered. There is no army. It has been 6 hours,” one kibbutz resident said. “People are begging for their lives.”
“My sister said militants entered her home,” in the southern Kibbutz of Nir Oz, a Tel Aviv resident named Gaia told Haaretz. “I’m unable to reach her.”

In the first century when the Jewish civilization in Israel was already over 1,000 years old, Rome swept in and destroyed the Holy Temple in Jerusalem and conquered the Jewish nation. At this time, the Romans renamed the region “Palestine” and exiled a portion of the population, with only a small handful of the original population remaining. The next 2,000 years saw a number of countries colonized, ruled and disappeared in the area, and only the Jewish people remained there the entire time. The various Arab nations and cultures moved in and out of the area, each claiming it as their own, but only the Jewish civilization had been there the entire time. The “Two State Solution” was proposed to put an end to this problem, but the Arabs decided for themselves it was theirs. Long story short, after WW 2, the Allied powers (along with the rest of the world) collectively decided that this area was indeed the original ancestral home of the Jewish people, and designated it as such, infuriating all of the Arab countries who refused to look at the history of the area. 12:39, I strongly suggest that you pick up a book or at least Google the topic before commenting.
