Larry Hogan isn’t ruling out running a third party bid for President in 2024 – and urges Republicans who didn’t make first debate stage to drop out of the crowded primary race

Larry Hogan still isn’t saying whether he will mount a third party presidential bid in 2024 – but says he does know the GOP field needs to thin out.

The former Maryland Governor is among those that No Labels, a third party movement, is considering to put forward as a candidate in 2024. Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) also appears to be on that short list.

Hogan, a Republican who served two terms as governor of a blue state, said that there are too many people running in the GOP presidential primary, and insists those who did not make the first debate stage last month should drop out.

‘I think there’s too many people in the field,’ he told CBS News’ Face the Nation program on Sunday morning. ‘If you don’t make the debate stage, you likely should consider getting out.’

  1. Hogan’s presidential numbers should be as good as Martin O’Malley’s were. Tanked before he even got started. Credentials for running for office by some. You must show hatred for the front runner. What A Joke!

  2. STFU LARRY you and your buddy omally should open up a bull shipping outfit as much BS as you and your buddy sling!! YOU did NOTHING for your state republicans. You are a traitor a marxist stooge.

  3. Harry Logan must have purchased a wide angle mirror ala OweBama so he can preen with most of his ego in view.

He may think he can hide behind No Lapels label but MD Republicans in particular and Republicans in general clearly recall his less than lite pursuit of Republican goals while camped in Annapolis. With 4 years to prepare groundwork for a viable successor he failed bigly; his candidate flubbed, he worked against the nominee and eventually endorsed the Soros product soft experience Dem candidate.

There’s a label for Harry Logan – Quisling! Good riddance.
